Live It

LIVE IT is the action module based on spiritual disciples, which help us live an active faith. These actions are based on active worship attendance, being in God‘s Word, prayer, ac-countability, and serving.

Sermon Notes:

Jesus spent a lot of time listening to His Father. We have the opportunity each Sunday to listen to what God has to say to us and apply it to our lives. Therefore, we are requiring 30 sermon notes to be completed as part of this module . These sermon notes can be completed at any Sunday service, any special worship service, or at a church where you are visiting. If you take notes at another church you must turn in the sermon note form and the bulletin from that service. In order to get credit for the completion of a sermon summary all information asked for on the sermon summary form must be com-pleted. If there are blanks on the sermon note sheet the sheet will be handed back to the student to complete.

A minimum of ten of the Sermon notes need to be ―Family Worship Reports‖ Others can be the Green sermon pages from the Sunday Worship Folder. ―Family Worship Report‖ forms can be picked up from the Connection Center or you can download them from www.studentfire.org

Servant Hours:

Jesus not only told us to love our neighbors, He modeled His entire life after serving others. Servanthood is a way Chris-tians respond to the redeeming love Christ has shown for us. The blessing of serving others is a sign of spiritual maturity and devotion. He expects us to serve others as well. Therefore, during their participation in the Ablazing Faith program students must complete 30 servant hours (minimum of 10 family hours- serving alongside a parent or grandparent) that benefit other people outside of their family or go on a mission trip. When a student conducts some type of service they record it on their log sheet..

Here are some servant opportunities below:

Students must be in attendance when the session begins and ends to receive credit for attendance.
