Ablazing Faith Modules

Our Confirmation experience is broken into four modules: Learn it, Live it, Grow it, Confirm it

Learn it

This is the classroom/small group course work. Courses offered cover the core of our material and contain both required courses and elective courses, as well as student, family, and parent courses. Students in our Day School take a large number of these as a part of 7th & 8th grade religion class.

Live it

This is action module based on spiritual disciples, which help us live an active faith. These actions are based on active worship attendance, being in God‘s Word, prayer, accountability, and serving.

Grow it

This is the retreat/field trip/ conference portion of our program. It is during these retreats and conferences that our youth get to know other youth and adults and start to feel a connection to others. Also these are great ways to encounter God in different settings.

Confirm it (Offered Fall of each year)

This is the final step in the journey of Confirmation. After all other requirements have been completed the students can sign up for ―The Second Greatest Story Ever Told – Mine!‖ This unit leads to the rite of Con-firmation. (Confirmation Day is once a year on Reformation Sunday – Last Sunday in October) [NOTE: Confirmation Day for 2008 is October 12th due to some scheduling conflicts that effected this year only]
