Parents
Let me say right up front, Parents are not just the drivers and financiers for those involved in Student Ministry. You as parents are on the front line of Faith Development. A recent study “The Religious and Spiritual Lives of American Teenagers” highlighted two very inportant facts. The first is the fact that Parents have the greatest influence on the faith of their children, greater than the influence of Youth Workers, Peers, Pastors or Teachers. The second fact was that the importance of faith in daily life is in direct proportion to the importance modeled by their parents. Which reminds us that faith is caught as much or more than it is taught.
We at Trinity and StudentFire want to see our ministry as much to you as parents as to your children. With this in mind we would like to share some resources with you to help and encourage as well as support you in your great role as a parent.
